Why on earth are my 2019 and 2020 vintage wines called Cornarse?
Cornas is a classy French area of the northern Rhone region that produces red wines from purely 100% Syrah (Shiraz) grapes.
Cornarse is my unclassy nod to such a region and delicious wines made from the same grape, but here in Australia.
Where are the grapes from?
The Shiraz grapes were sourced from Peter Fyffe’s gorgeous vineyard in Yandoit in southern Bendigo.
